ITAFUT 4EVER's Rodriguinho Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-11.

Independência Futebol made a substitution. Alessandro Vides replaced Marcelo Pimenta. If Jardel Baggio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Gustavo de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Linhares in the 85th minute of the match. Boguslaw Tarasek scored 0-15 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Gustavo de Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Boguslaw Tarasek managed to get in a good position for a shot. ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Boguslaw Tarasek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Gustavo de Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Independência Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Baggio came free, but Luís Gustavo de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodriguinho Linhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Luís Gustavo de Castro made a huge save. After some careless play in the Independência Futebol defense, Rodriguinho Linhares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Gustavo de Castro. The Independência Futebol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Gustavo de Castro should have stopped the shot. Jardel Baggio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Luís Gustavo de Castro when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
