Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredrik Masculier in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremy Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tana Rede in the 19th minute of play. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tana Rede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Iwo Kaparelis got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Alfredinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Granadero10's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New England Minas! New England Minas:s Jeremy Nicholas showed great skill when he stopped Tana Rede:s penalty. Norberto Simão struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jeremy Nicholas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granadero10. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Granadero10's Norberto Simão. But to his dismay, Norberto Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Severino Messias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Jeremy Nicholas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
