The Olivedos fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Olivedos's Abel de Godoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Olivedos's Abel de Godoi in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Independência Futebol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Parraga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Abel de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olivedos's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel de Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldo Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The attack was good, but when Abel de Godoi in the 46th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The Independência Futebol players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olivedos were winning 0-7.

Olivedos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
