After some careless play in the Jipa RO defense, Mané Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabinho Prestes. The Jipa RO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabinho Prestes should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabinho Prestes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruno Henrique could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Guilherme Catarinense made a huge save. In the 21st minute 邓轩升 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Lara in the 22nd minute of play forced Jipa RO's goalkeeper Fabinho Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Jipa RO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Morientes to maneuver through the defense. Fabinho Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With his leg Guilherme Catarinense managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Jipa RO's Glauco Mendes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 27 minutes into the game, Glauco Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Guilherme Catarinense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Glauco Mendes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邓轩升 in the 36th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Guilherme Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Jipa RO fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Jipa RO's Norbert Konopka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Guilherme Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 邓轩升, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hilario Gurutz's late challenge caught a Jipa RO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Gurutz helped the player get up and apologised. Hilario Gurutz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norbert Konopka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guilherme Catarinense came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jipa RO's İnanç İrem. But to his dismay, İnanç İrem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Guilherme Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Henrique in the 55th minute of play. Fabinho Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Lara in the 57th minute of play. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Maurício Donatello was substituted for Mané Lara. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Jacek Krzynowek was substituted for Alesandro Coutinho. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Lennart Khan was substituted for Elberg As. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurício Donatello in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabinho Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacek Krzynowek got free with Fabinho Prestes in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacek Krzynowek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Fabinho Prestes made a huge save. Jipa RO's Fabinho Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Jipa RO from getting a goal against them. Jipa RO's Fabinho Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Donatello in the 77th minute of play. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fernando Vale the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Joinville United - FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fernando Vale had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Jipa RO a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Willy Witarya, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Joinville United - FSCMZ's Guilherme Catarinense. 5-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Joinville United - FSCMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jipa RO.
