Luisinho Ceresso ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Luisinho Ceresso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres did a great save. If Abel de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nilson Peres made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Abel de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Peres having to interfere. Nilson Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. ITAFUT 4EVER's Rodriguinho Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Tony Schmidt got a free kick in the 36th minute. ITAFUT 4EVER's Evelio Rico got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuri da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Rico in the 40th minute of play. Alexsandro da Costa made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ITAFUT 4EVER's Niklas Bergdal. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olivedos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jean-Paul Møffelmand was slow to take the kick. During this time ITAFUT 4EVER's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jean-Paul Møffelmand got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yuri da Cunha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel de Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Ryszard Barycz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Alexsandro da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
