In the 8th minute of the match Joinville United - FSCMZ got a corner. Vila Zumbi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alesandro Coutinho ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alesandro Coutinho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antoni Beninda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 11th minute Mané Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Beninda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alesandro Coutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Beninda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Alesandro Coutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antoni Beninda. Vila Zumbi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alesandro Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Vila Zumbi's Antoni Beninda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Lara in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Mané Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antoni Beninda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 26th minute Maciej Marchlewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoni Beninda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mané Lara's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Guilherme Catarinense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maciej Marchlewicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 34 minute of play. Guilherme Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Kadıoğlu in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes Joinville United - FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 许夕昆 who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Vila Zumbi's corner 许夕昆 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guilherme Catarinense quite easily take care of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Mané Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antoni Beninda. Vila Zumbi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mané Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After the first half Joinville United - FSCMZ were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maciej Marchlewicz made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Marchlewicz came free, but Guilherme Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vila Zumbi's Gigel Tofan got a free kick in the 55th minute. Mané Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antoni Beninda having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Lara in the 58th minute of play forced Vila Zumbi's goalkeeper Antoni Beninda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vila Zumbi's attentive Gildo Seco managed to snatch the ball when Xie Ying Cheng made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Oséias Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Jacek Krzynowek was substituted for Alesandro Coutinho. In the 66th minute, Oséias Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoni Beninda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacek Krzynowek in the 67th minute. Vila Zumbi's Antoni Beninda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Vila Zumbi from getting a goal against them. Dadá Maravilha hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jacek Krzynowek came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. Joinville United - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Vila Zumbi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maurício Donatello took the corner. Lennart Khan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Antoni Beninda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 93 minutes, Dadá Maravilha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila Zumbi and the Joinville United - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joinville United - FSCMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
