When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norbert Konopka made a kick off. Abel de Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabinho Prestes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel de Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Jipa RO's Fabinho Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel de Godoi in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Konopka in the 55th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Yuri da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Willy Witarya fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jipa RO's protests and gave Willy Witarya a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jipa RO! Fabinho Prestes had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Cássio Ferraz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball The crowd rose to their feet as Olivedos's Cássio Ferraz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabinho Prestes. That made the score 0-1 after 61 minutes of play. Rubinho Chaves hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Yuri da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邓轩升 in the 67th minute of play. Jipa RO's Evair Gøl was substituted for Nicolás Otamendi. Yuri da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute.
