With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavian Jähnigen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Raúl Palomar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alan de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ali Nejat Özertem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Sobral in the 37th minute of play. Ricardinho Dantas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavian Jähnigen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Colombo A.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şehzade Faydalı to maneuver through the defense. Şehzade Faydalı kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Sobral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ali Nejat Özertem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Sobral in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Lam Baril shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Nejat Özertem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Jähnigen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Predador Brasiliense MZBR made a substitution. Cris Gol replaced António Sobral. Colombo A.C.'s Oséas Camargo was substituted for Alfredo Meireles. Ali Nejat Özertem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kürşat Aurelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Octavian Jähnigen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Burufski in the 71st minute of play. Colombo A.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
