A nice corner shot did that Reynaldo Osmond got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dinei Pinheiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 7th minute Joinville United - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Lennart Khan went to the cornerflag to take it. Lennart Khan made a great header on Joinville United - FSCMZ's corner, it was just that SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Lara in the 11th minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mané Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dinei Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinei Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Lara came free, but Dinei Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinei Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara. But to his dismay, Mané Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mané Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinei Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Mané Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dinei Pinheiro. SeleSantos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mané Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Lara in the 25th minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinei Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Lara in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinei Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Borys Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Törnqvist in the 33rd minute of the match. Norberto Trevisan hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Dinei Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SeleSantos FC's goalie and right to Alesandro Coutinho. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SeleSantos FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Montenegro during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niilo Mikkola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mané Laras short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Dinei Pinheiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 55th minute Joinville United - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Lennart Khan went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Joinville United - FSCMZ's corner Alesandro Coutinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dinei Pinheiro quite easily take care of the ball. Dinei Pinheiro stood somewhat misplaced when Alesandro Coutinho came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 56 minute. After 62 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Trevisan. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Maurício Donatello was substituted for Lennart Khan. The supporters of Joinville United - FSCMZ booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mané Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinei Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Alesandro Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville United - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alesandro Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Trevisan charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Trevisan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Trevisan. Dinei Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mané Lara in the 69th minute. In the 85th minute Alesandro Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Ortiz. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Montenegro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Joinville United - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
