ATHLETICO PRaiano's Gaétan Govou quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rui Terra, made in the 12th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Deilmison van Basten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jakob Heinicke. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Deilmison van Basten might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jakob Heinicke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deilmison van Basten ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 19th minute of play forced Independência Futebol's goalkeeper Jakob Heinicke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Vilhelm Skoog left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deilmison van Basten got free with Jakob Heinicke in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the ATHLETICO PRaiano defense, Astor Urtun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodriguinho Sousa. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodriguinho Sousa should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Independência Futebol's goalkeeper Jakob Heinicke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deilmison van Basten. Jakob Heinicke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Deilmison van Basten notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Independência Futebol's Jakob Heinicke. Jakob Heinicke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After taking down the ball on ATHLETICO PRaiano's corner Betão Marquez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jakob Heinicke quite easily take care of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Jakob Heinicke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Independência Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Jakob Heinicke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denílson Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jakob Heinicke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATHLETICO PRaiano. Deilmison van Basten scored 7-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jakob Heinicke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jakob Heinicke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 75th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes Unax Mudarra shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Jakob Heinicke when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Independência Futebol's Jakob Heinicke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Independência Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Jakob Heinicke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Roger Arruda fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independência Futebol's protests and gave Roger Arruda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Roger Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Deilmison van Basten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jakob Heinicke was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ATHLETICO PRaiano fully deserved thier win.
