Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jämjö IFK's Pelle Flinck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Jämjö IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Pelle Flinck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Pelle Flinck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jämjö IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Pelle Flinck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Bergstedt saved Jämjö IFK from getting behind. After having played for 26 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dan Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 28th minute of the match. Henning Bodin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Dan Bergstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Puig's late challenge caught a Jämjö IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Puig helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Dan Bergstedt had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Tasis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Alexander Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jämjö IFK the free kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Bergstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dan Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 76th minute of the match. Axel Tasis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dan Bergstedt having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jämjö IFK had played much better football throughout.
