Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Lacasa could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Jago Urquijo however easily saved by the left post. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute. Francisco Carballar was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 21st minute of play forced C.A. Husky's goalkeeper Jago Urquijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tallia Incera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Kajar Indrekson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 52nd minute, Tallia Incera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chile.
