Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michal Stehno started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. In the 4th minute, Michal Stehno made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 9th minute Unidad de Matanza were awarded a corner. Martin Grøtterud went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Martin Grøtterud almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 10th minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Máximo Kirchner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michal Stehno's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Camilo Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Martin Grøtterud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidad de Matanza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Grøtterud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute Michal Stehno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michal Stehno took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Kirchner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Stehno in the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Unidad de Matanza's Michal Stehno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stehno in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Martin Grøtterud took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Michal Stehno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Unidad de Matanza's Lateef Raal was substituted for Máximo Kirchner. When Lateef Raal came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lateef Raal couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Nestor Bâru notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Nestor Bâru took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Joaquin Gayoso to make any attempt to save it. Nestor Bâru kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 0-9 after 76 minutes of play. 85 minutes into the match, Nestor Bâru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso, 0-11. The throw-in from Arturo Carvallo in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Unidad de Matanza's Freddy Quintyn. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Unidad de Matanza walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
