Ali Nejat Özertem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Alfredo Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aitor Cintron, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Colombo A.C.'s Ricardinho Dantas in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute, Ricardinho Dantas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Nejat Özertem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Nejat Özertem saved Colombo A.C. from getting behind. Ali Nejat Özertem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Colombo A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Ali Nejat Özertem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardinho Dantas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 3-1 in the 36 minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Dantas in the 40th minute of play. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardinho Dantas to strike the kick off in the second half. Axel Montenegro made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Santino Seco however managed to control. Colombo A.C.'s Adrien Caillol was substituted for Julian Tomporowski. After a rather tough play, Colombo A.C.'s Julian Tomporowski got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Nejat Özertem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Nejat Özertem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Adrien Caillol with Ricardinho Dantas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Ali Nejat Özertem successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Nejat Özertem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aitor Cintron in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Dantas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardinho Dantas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Ricardinho Dantas took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Colombo A.C..
