A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Dionisio Emesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falckner FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Emesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Silverio Mazuste got a free kick in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Herminio Ourente made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. After 59 minutes, Felix Belmiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falckner FC and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Falckner FC's Remigio Joanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Remigio Joanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Lluis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfonso Lluis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes in the game Herminio Ourente did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ivan Reynardo. Falckner FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Honduras had controlled the match.
