Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Carballo during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. 7 minutes in the game Piero Hincapié after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Benito Sanz. A very good opportunity. In the 9th minute, Axel Tasis made a precise shot to the right of José Francisco Cevallos. INGOBERNABLE F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Francisco Cevallos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Francisco Cevallos came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Lavalle Cotorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Francisco Cevallos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 34th minute of the match. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. INGOBERNABLE F.C's Unax Quintairos got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when James Retes made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the game, James Cosio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramírez Aceves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Ramírez Aceves made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramírez Aceves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Axel Tasis made a precise shot to the right of José Francisco Cevallos. INGOBERNABLE F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. INGOBERNABLE F.C's John Caldas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Rubio, made in the 87th minute of the game. Ramírez Aceves struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INGOBERNABLE F.C. INGOBERNABLE F.C's attentive Clemente Esteban managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. Costa Rica were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over INGOBERNABLE F.C's much stronger midfield.
