The crowd rose to their feet as 巩鸿正 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 3-1 in the 30 minute of play. Samuel Navarro hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Bernardino Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 41st minute of the match. But to his dismay, Jan Urban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 78 minutes into the game, Abram Secada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardino Duarte. Abram Secada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Urban in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Jan Urban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
