The MOEBIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Castulo should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 16-0. Aquiles Castulo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaime Cazalla got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alberto Gisbert. There was no doubt that Uruguay were the better team. Uruguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
