Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 4 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, King Eken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. When King Eken came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Club Brugge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that King Eken couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stein Spoelberch was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 18th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stein Spoelberch was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 孔磊傲 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stein Spoelberch made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 28th minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stein Spoelberch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Stein Spoelberch in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stein Spoelberch firmly grabbed it by the left post. Club Brugge's King Eken got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Ecuador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Brugge were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 孔磊傲 to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stein Spoelberch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match, King Eken got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Club Brugge were furious when Gert-Jan Schroons was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 57 minutes into the game, one of Club Brugge:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 62 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stein Spoelberch was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Spoelberch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Brugge's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After 67 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by King Eken. Stein Spoelberch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute of the match. Stein Spoelberch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 73rd minute of play. King Eken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Spoelberch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when King Eken sent off a good shot on target. Nickolas Gielens kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Club Brugge's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stein Spoelberch having to interfere. After having played for 98 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
