Mariusz Mielak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 3rd minute of the match. CWKS Legia's Mariusz Mielak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Mariusz Mielak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 11 minutes, Antoni Parzysz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CWKS Legia and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when CWKS Legia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Parzysz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariusz Mielak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Mariusz Mielak came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. CWKS Legia's Mariusz Mielak quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. CWKS Legia's Mariusz Mielak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Mielak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the CWKS Legia defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariusz Mielak. The CWKS Legia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariusz Mielak should have stopped the shot. In the 27thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CWKS Legia's Mariusz Mielak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariusz Mielak came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Antoni Parzysz sent off a good shot on target. CWKS Legia's Mariusz Mielak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. Mariusz Mielak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Mielak having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antoni Parzysz to make the kick off. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Czerwinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Antonio Arias took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariusz Mielak. Mariusz Mielak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. A hard shot 65 in the game by Felix Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Mariusz Mielak managed to make a qualified save. CWKS Legia's players were relieved. After 69 played minutes CWKS Legia got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Zabrzeski. Edgar Zabrzeski hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Antoni Parzysz scored 1-5 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 82 minutes into the match, CWKS Legia's goalkeeper Mariusz Mielak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Mariusz Mielak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of the match. CWKS Legia made a substitution. Sylwester Kociniewski replaced Witomir Kaczeniak. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by CWKS Legia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 88th minute. Mariusz Mielak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominik Pruss during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dominik Pruss kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Napoleon Czerwinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CWKS Legia.
