Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 9th minute of the match Deportivo Tood got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ceferino Quinto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ceferino Quinto made a great header on Deportivo Tood's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 15th minute, Jacobo Urbasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramón Díaz in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Díaz in the 22nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Ramón Díaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tood's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Eleuterio Loramendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramón Díaz went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Loramendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Ramón Díaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramón Díaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Eleuterio Loramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of the match. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramón Díaz to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Díaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Loramendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Eleuterio Loramendi made a huge save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Martino in the 77th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Luis Andino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eleuterio Loramendi. That made the score 4-1 after 85 minutes of play. Eleuterio Loramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Deportivo Tood's Eleuterio Loramendi. Eleuterio Loramendi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Deportivo Tood were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
