Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Haldun Onay got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Haldun Onay tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when Bursalona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hamdi Dalmaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahadır Doğanay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bahadır Doğanay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bursalona's Bahadır Doğanay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 17th minute of play. When Şimşek Tur came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Bursalona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şimşek Tur couldn't finish the play. Haldun Onay struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bursalona. Şimşek Tur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bursalona's Bahadır Doğanay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 29th minute of play. Bahadır Doğanay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes of play, Bursalona's Haldun Onay made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Haldun Onay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bursalona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Haldun Onay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Ivan Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bursalona the free kick. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Ivan Navarro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Murathan İcabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murathan İcabi during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Honduras booed when Bursalona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murathan İcabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bahadır Doğanay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 72nd minute of play. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Bursalona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. The corner ended in Edmundo Espiga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bursalona's Bahadır Doğanay did a great save. In the 75th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Bursalona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bahadır Doğanay quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 75 minutes, Christian Sancho made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bursalona's Bahadır Doğanay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Haldun Onay came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haldun Onay in the 85th minute of play. Bahadır Doğanay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haldun Onay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Honduras's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bursalona had won, even though Honduras had held more of the ball.
