The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Damian Ruszkowski in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulkadir Çokman in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Gleszcz SSA got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After 33 played minutes, Gleszcz SSA's Jan Fafinski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Ruszkowski having to interfere. Damian Ruszkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Feliks Smolak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Gleszcz SSA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Roch Sala hit a great ball. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Damian Ruszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 92nd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gleszcz SSA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
