Usain Bolt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 5th minute of play forced Mapovihesa FC's goalkeeper Constantin Potocianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mapovihesa FC's Constantin Potocianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 8th minute of play. When Usain Bolt came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Mapovihesa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Usain Bolt couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Usain Bolt in the 13th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th play minute Usain Bolt came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Mapovihesa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Constantin Potocianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oreste-Osmar Corbatta charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oreste-Osmar Corbatta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mapovihesa FC's Oreste-Osmar Corbatta got a free kick in the 20th minute. Constantin Potocianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Usain Bolt in the 29th minute of play. Antonio Indiano got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luis Cazalla. After 36 played minutes Mapovihesa FC got a freekick which was hit by Kent Saka. Mapovihesa FC's Constantin Potocianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 40th minute of play. Constantin Potocianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Constantin Potocianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Usain Bolt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mapovihesa FC made a substitution. Jerzy Wojno replaced Kent Saka. 58 minutes in the game Orlando Tafalla did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Antonio Indiano. In the 59th minute, Colombia's Santino Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mapovihesa FC's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantin Potocianu came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Mapovihesa FC's Raimundo Erramu got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abram Secada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Potocianu having to make a save. In the 73rd match minute, Mapovihesa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Usain Bolt to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Ramachandramurthy Ramachandran put in a rough tackle. After 75 played minutes Mapovihesa FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramachandramurthy Ramachandran. Kevin Mastache struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Constantin Potocianu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Erramu in the 80th minute of the match. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Constantin Potocianu made a huge save. Abram Secada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Potocianu having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar got a free kick in the 85th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Iratze in the 89th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
