Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Bursalona's Haldun Onay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Haldun Onay sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Haldun Onay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Haldun Onay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th match minute, Bursalona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şimşek Tur to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haldun Onay in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haldun Onay's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Haldun Onay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Haldun Onay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. In the 26th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Doğanay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haldun Onay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. After 30 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. 33 minutes in the game, Şimşek Tur fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Baturalp Tolun's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baturalp Tolun helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bursalona getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Baturalp Tolun hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Haldun Onay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Hamdi Dalmaz kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahadır Doğanay having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Murathan İcabi notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haldun Onay in the 65th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Murathan İcabi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 79th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Haldun Onay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Murathan İcabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bursalona walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
