Fausto Mendonça took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Seide. Noel Seide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ryszard Janiczek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Seide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Mendonça in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Seide saved Haiti from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Fausto Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Fausto Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haiti's goalie prevented a goal. In the 31st minute, Fausto Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Mendonça in the 36th minute of play. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raigo Vananurm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Fausto Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scarlet Speedster's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Fausto Mendonça put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Noel Seide. Noel Seide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Mendonça in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Fausto Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Seide was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. 67 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Mendonça came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Fausto Mendonça sped through Haiti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Noel Seide. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Mendonça in the 71st minute of play. Raigo Vananurm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noel Seide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. If Fausto Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the game, Fausto Mendonça lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Noel Seide. 83 minutes into the game, Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Seide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Fausto Mendonça took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Noel Seide to make any attempt to save it. Fausto Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Noel Seide made a huge save. After 91 minutes of play, Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fausto Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Noel Seide made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Mendonça got free with Noel Seide in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
