Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Judas Verón made the kick off which started today's match. When Blue Dolar fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgrano de Pibasog's protests and gave Blue Dolar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eustaquio Fortun was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgrano de Pibasog's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Judas Verón in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Judas Verón went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Judas Verón, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of the match. If Judas Verón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 39th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Judas Verón sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvio Abadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Belgrano de Pibasog's Garcia Morros was substituted for Blue Dolar. After 61 minutes of play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Judas Verón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Judas Verón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Melquiades Henrico replaced Justino Frederico. 72 minutes into the game, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 75 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner. Eustaquio Fortun went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Maximiano Delgado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Abadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca was substituted for Judas Verón. Eustaquio Fortun kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Belgrano de Pibasog got a freekick which was hit by Garcia Morros. When Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Belgrano de Pibasog had won after a very even match.
