Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kyle Davies kicked off to start the match. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Fausto Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 6 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Troy Kennedy. In the 9thth minute of the game Fausto Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Fausto Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scarlet Speedster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Mendonça in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Troy Kennedy's late challenge caught a Scarlet Speedster's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Troy Kennedy helped the player get up and apologised. Troy Kennedy hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Fausto Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Mendonça in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the game, Fausto Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Fausto Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 36 minutes into the game, Fausto Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Fausto Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Fausto Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Fausto Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edward Krzynowek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Mendonça to make the kick off. Bruno Barrett was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Fausto Mendonça capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fausto Mendonça really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Edward Krzynowek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Barrett was a little too slow when Fausto Mendonça got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-10. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Fausto Mendonça took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Fausto Mendonça took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. Fausto Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. Scarlet Speedster's Tomas Wallin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bertie Johnson, made in the 73rd minute of the game. After 81 minutes of play, Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fausto Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Mendonça. Bruno Barrett was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Fausto Mendonça capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fausto Mendonça really showed his touch with that goal: 0-15. 94 minutes into the game, Fausto Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-16. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça. But to his dismay, Fausto Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-17.
