Faro querandi's Igor Pandilovski got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roque Gabon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 90th minute of the match. When Polad Bastia fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faro querandi's protests and gave Polad Bastia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Panama booed when Faro querandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polad Bastia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama played a much better game than Faro querandi and deserved their victory. The Faro querandi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
