A very good chance for a goal. 7 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ander Bye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of play forced Anderbye FC's goalkeeper Ander Bye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ander Bye stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Ander Bye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elivélton Ferraz in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 29th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ander Bye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Anderbye FC's Lince Negro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 40th minute Lince Negro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lince Negro in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lince Negro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elivélton Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 65 minutes Anderbye FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Anderbye FC's Ander Bye managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 66th minute Gilmar Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 77th minute.
