In the 17th minute of the match Alvinegro de Tupã got a corner. KANONIERZY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvinho Meira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Alvinegro de Tupã's Silvinho Meira to fire away a dangerous shot which Christian Abbiati despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Karl Martin Bell Burnell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gösta Söderberg's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gösta Söderberg in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Martin Bell Burnell saved Alvinegro de Tupã from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Alvinegro de Tupã's Rashad Bartlett ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christian Abbiati. Christian Abbiati yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Christian Abbiati made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Rashad Bartlett sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the game, Ali Hamza Hanefi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alvinegro de Tupã's Arí Mello quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Åke Hellström made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by KANONIERZY's Bernard Poniewaz. After a rather tough play, Alvinegro de Tupã's Åke Hellström got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 59th minute, Rashad Bartlett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Abbiati was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Karl Martin Bell Burnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Söderberg in the 65th minute of play. KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rashad Bartlett in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damazy Fleischer got free with Karl Martin Bell Burnell in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvinegro de Tupã were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KANONIERZY for a fine match.
