Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Firmo Abella made in the 6th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ramon Centurión immediately put the ball in play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goalkeeper Stéphane Brault, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stéphane Brault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Kismi Abad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stéphane Brault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Feyyaz Erol sent off a good shot on target. Peru's Milagros Fraga suffered a sore thigh after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 16th match minute, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Pepsi Fuchibol Clu defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stéphane Brault. The Pepsi Fuchibol Clu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stéphane Brault should have stopped the shot. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stéphane Brault read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Ramon Centurión fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 25 minutes into the game, Cordera Abella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Stéphane Brault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stéphane Brault read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Wilhelm Lindqvist got a free kick in the 31st minute. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Stéphane Brault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute of play. After 47 minutes Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Peru's Joaquin Prats quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ciprian Joldea, made in the 53rd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stéphane Brault. That made the score 2-2 in the 55 minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stéphane Brault narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Anthony Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon Centurión, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Stéphane Brault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goalkeeper Stéphane Brault, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordera Abella in the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes in the game Ciprian Joldea did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ramon Centurión. After 91 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Berganza. If Rafael Gallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peru for a fine match.
