Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Kiewit in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Kiewit in the 5th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Bermejo Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Leandro Munio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Kiewit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Johan Kiewit put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Day. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of USA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bermejo Club:s goal. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Kiewit, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Leandro Munio came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Leandro Munio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Leandro Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 45th minute of play. After the first half USA were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johan Kiewit was the one to do the kick off. Leandro Munio made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. If Honorio Nikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Kiewit in the 64th minute of the match. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. In the 67th minute Bermejo Club were awarded a corner. Feliberto Tauro went to the cornerflag to take it. After 67 played minutes Bermejo Club got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Nikola. In the 72nd minute, Honorio Nikola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bermejo Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 75th minute, Narciso Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Narciso Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Leandro Munio made a huge save. In the 78th match minute, Bermejo Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Tauro to maneuver through the defense. Khalid Parry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bermejo Club's Leandro Munio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Baker in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Gogo Eufemio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bermejo Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave USA the free kick. In the 84th match minute, Bermejo Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Eufemio to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute of the match Jenson Smith sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leandro Munio skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Sam Campbell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Munio was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Honorio Nikola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bermejo Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
