Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Rudolf Meulman made a huge save. The supporters of Chile booed when Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Gorka didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Javiar came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommi Valkama kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Rudolf Meulman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 13th minute of play. In the 16thth minute of the game Nicolas Satordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudolf Meulman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Rudolf Meulman made a huge save. 28 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Javiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carmelo Gorka was slow to take the kick. During this time Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's players had a chance to rest. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper Rudolf Meulman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Mariano Lacasa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rudolf Meulman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Olimpo de Bahia Blanca were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Javiar to make the kick off. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Rudolf Meulman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Bonifacio Javiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carmelo Gorka in the 65th minute. The corner led Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Carmelo Gorka to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Rigoberto Inguma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Inguma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bonifacio Javiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 78th minute of play forced Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper Rudolf Meulman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Nicolas Satordi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rudolf Meulman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. The Olimpo de Bahia Blanca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olimpo de Bahia Blanca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
