When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Evaristo Neves. Evaristo Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Agustín Saelices's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Neves was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 35th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Evaristo Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Guto Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Neves came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürhan İlenç in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After 63 minutes Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 67th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's Evaristo Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Flu Lawyers Soccer Club from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that 姚潮谦's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Neves having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Gürhan İlenç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Neves made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Gisbert in the 92nd minute of play forced Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's goalkeeper Evaristo Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
