Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Bermejo Club's Johan Kiewit started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ruperto Theobald kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Kiewit in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Johan Kiewit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Johan Kiewit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Kiewit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bermejo Club's Narciso Teixeira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pascual Carballar in the 16 minute of the game. Leandro Munio came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Abram Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Abram Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 25th minute Johan Kiewit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bermejo Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Feliberto Tauro in the 26th minute. A nice corner shot did that Feliberto Tauro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Johan Kiewit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Kiewit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Kiewit in the 36th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Johan Kiewit got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 43rd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leandro Munio. Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Leandro Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes Bermejo Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. A sloppy throw-in by David Hulberto in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. Honorio Nikola took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. A sloppy throw-in by David Hulberto in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. In the 73rd minute, Colombia's Abram Secada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leandro Munio. Leandro Munio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Secada in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Munio saved Bermejo Club from getting behind. Leandro Munio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Secada's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Bermejo Club's Honorio Nikola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Bermejo Club's Honorio Nikola. But to his dismay, Honorio Nikola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Leandro Munio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 94th minute. In the 94th match minute, Bermejo Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Nikola to maneuver through the defense. Bermejo Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
