Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Wilber Leon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilber Leon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Abel Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caio da Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Abel Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Rouco's late challenge caught a Qikiqtarjuaq FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Rouco helped the player get up and apologised. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Miki Jungslund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Abel Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilgaz Şirvan in the 35th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Miki Jungslund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play.

Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio da Rocha in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Caio da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Joel Gaona sped through Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abel Bueno. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caio da Rocha's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Bueno having to interfere. Abel Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 64th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio da Rocha in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. When Lautaro Mancebo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Lautaro Mancebo a yellow card for diving instead. Qikiqtarjuaq FC made a substitution. Bastien Aldridge replaced Gary Thomason. In the 75th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Quinton Marcheterre got a free kick in the 76th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Oryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio da Rocha in the 87th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Caio da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Caio da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Caio da Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caio da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
