Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovani Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play forced Noia's goalkeeper Geovani Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Geovani Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silviu Miclea in the 25th minute. A hard shot 30 in the game by Silviu Miclea from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. In the 32nd minute, Silviu Miclea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-1. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovani Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play forced Noia's goalkeeper Geovani Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Noia booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovani Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Silviu Miclea made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Geovani Velloso made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geovani Velloso. That made the score 1-2 after 52 minutes of play. A collision led to Noia getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Manole Creangă hit a great ball. Geovani Velloso made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Geovani Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovani Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Noia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 69th minute. Noia's Geovani Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Noia from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Geovani Velloso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovani Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Noia's Norberto Villegas got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 95th match minute, Noia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviu Miclea to maneuver through the defense. Noia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
