Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rolando Amorebieta made the kick off and thus started the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Amorebieta in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Gabriel Martinelli got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 18th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Cuadrado. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jacinto Cuadrado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Cuadrado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Rainerio Obis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rainerio Obis in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Cuadrado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Olaf Varela scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 1-1. Hitzeder Manrique could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Agnaldo de Alcântara got a free kick in the 44th minute. Lautaro Mancebo scored 1-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Cuadrado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jacinto Cuadrado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Amorebieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jacinto Cuadrado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 70th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacinto Cuadrado. Jacinto Cuadrado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 74th minute, Hitzeder Manrique ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Amorebieta in the 80th minute of play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agnaldo de Alcântara hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 92 minutes in the game Lazaro Marin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alexis McAllister. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Amorebieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Boca Juniors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
