After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Judas Verón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Axel Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Bernardo Raggio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Judas Verón, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardo Raggio. Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Colombia's Abram Sarmiento in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgrano de Pibasog's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Judas Verón came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garcia Morros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eustaquio Fortun took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garcia Morros in the 61st minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Justino Frederico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Abadia in the 99th minute. 100 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 100thth minute of the game Ignacio Mastache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardo Raggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 101st minute of play. Colombia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Belgrano de Pibasog for a fine match.
