Zézinho Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zézinho Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andy Garcia, 1-2. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Cayetano Beltran with Gugu Guimarães as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 76 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. Ümit Daman struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soda f c. The audience was convinced that Ümit Daman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. With a little luck, Soda f c's Andy Garcia got control of the ball when Pascual Carballar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
