Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ian Power took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Pierce Wrigley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Pierce Wrigley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Mancebo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Littlechild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes of play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Power was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when James Littlechild came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Macos Graciani got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Joel Gaona. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Ian Power however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierce Wrigley, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Hunting High & Low.. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alain Rosenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hunting High & Low.. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Billy Larsfelt hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ian Power saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

54 minutes into the match, James Littlechild notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ian Power read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Mexico's Luca Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Mexico booed when Hunting High & Low.. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reggie Bow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when James Littlechild sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Power having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ian Power tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chants of Hunting High & Low.. echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Mexico had held the ball for most of the match.
