Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eulalio Callejas kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Callejas came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eulalio Callejas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Callejas in the 12th minute of play. Luis Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Callejas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Callejas, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ballet Azul's Pepe Rojas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Cazalla in the 25 minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, José Luis Chilavert successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Luis Cazalla got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Eulalio Callejas made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eladio Ulloa in the 33rd minute of play. José Luis Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Danilo Quiroga in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. With a little luck, Ballet Azul's José Luis Chilavert got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Luis Chilavert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axel Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Callejas in the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Danilo Quiroga in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. José Luis Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Luis Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Ballet Azul getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Danilo Quiroga hit a great ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Eulalio Callejas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but José Luis Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Kevin Mastache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Santino Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ballet Azul made a substitution. Odín Enríquez replaced Eulalio Callejas. The supporters of Ballet Azul booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santino Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eladio Ulloa in the 79th minute of play. Colombia's Pascual Carballar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Esequiel Dohrmann in the 82 minute of the game. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Luis Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Secada in the 83rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eladio Ulloa in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. José Luis Chilavert came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Abram Secada. But to his dismay, Abram Secada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With 94 minutes on the clock, Romeo Passi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 94th minute, one of Ballet Azul:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ballet Azul. Colombia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ballet Azul for a fine match.
