Hugo Ferrant made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by BK Nerysminne's Jan Hedström. 18 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alexander Malmström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Abel Carballo in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BK Nerysminne's Ulf Hernström. Alexander Malmström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. BK Nerysminne's Jan Hedström quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Costa Rica were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Örtlund to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Alexander Malmström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Axel Tasis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Alexander Malmström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Juan Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Juan Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BK Nerysminne booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. BK Nerysminne's Jan Hedström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Rubio in the 63 minute of the game. A collision led to BK Nerysminne getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Robert Örtlund hit a great ball. Abel Carballo made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Noboa immediately put the ball in play. In the 69th minute of the game Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in which Lautaro Puig played forward. Axel Tasis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Alexander Malmström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alexander Malmström came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Axel Tasis. But to his dismay, Axel Tasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Nerysminne's goalie prevented a goal. Alexander Malmström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Tasis in the 85th minute. Alexander Malmström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 87th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Costa Rica walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
