Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Boroondara Milan's Paco Everett started the match with a crisp pass. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rusty Reynolds hit a great ball. Bath Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 19th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paco Everett showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bath Boyce was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Bath Boyce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Sarmiento went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Kris Pearse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Paco Everett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. If Alex Cambeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Boroondara Milan:s Bath Boyce showed great skill when he stopped Abraham Alguacil:s penalty. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boroondara Milan throughout the match.
