Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Cazalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lastra Pinga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Tafalla made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Jacinto Barea. Vassilis Vonortas charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vassilis Vonortas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lastra Pinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 57th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Vassilis Vonortas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lastra Pinga. Lastra Pinga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Cirilo Osorio was substituted for Erubiel Atarrabi. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Vassilis Vonortas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Vassilis Vonortas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. If Vassilis Vonortas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vassilis Vonortas scored 2-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Vassilis Vonortas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lastra Pinga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Mastache's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Vassilis Vonortas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Bihar to maneuver through the defense.
