Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ali Artuner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Daniz Keng scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Daniz Keng scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-0. Ali Artuner came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 18th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Artuner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Azam Chew came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Artuner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho scored 2-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Artuner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute Azam Chew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manchester United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniz Keng in the 33rd minute. The corner led Manchester United's Daniz Keng to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Afiq Nair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Afiq Nair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Bryan Ramachandran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Azam Chew cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azam Chew, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ali Artuner was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Daniz Keng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Ali Artuner came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Daniz Keng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
