Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pelle Flinck started the match with the kick off. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Jämjö IFK's Dan Bergstedt got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Patrick Hedling fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jämjö IFK's protests and gave Patrick Hedling a yellow card for diving instead. Patrick Hedling hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes Jämjö IFK got a freekick which was hit by Henning Bodin. After having played for 16 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Jämjö IFK's Pelle Flinck. But to his dismay, Pelle Flinck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 31 played minutes Jämjö IFK got a freekick which was hit by Pelle Flinck. After 33 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Jämjö IFK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Pelle Flinck hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Bergstedt saved Jämjö IFK from getting behind. Jaime Pardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Bergstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Paraguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Pardo in the 53rd minute. Jämjö IFK's Dan Bergstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dan Bergstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 74th minute of play. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Flinck in the 87th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pelle Flinck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 96th match minute, Jämjö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Bodin to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle went the supporters of Jämjö IFK were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Paraguay side.
