After taking down the ball on Sporting Clube Patrício's corner Zeferino Cardoso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. In the 8th minute Tomás Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Zarco Lameiras notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zarco Lameiras in the 17th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tomás Portugal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Mauro Alcântara got a free kick in the 74th minute. Luz Tejedor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ademar Azevedo. Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ademar Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Peru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
