Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ignacio Emerson having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Brannik's Ignacio Emerson. Ignacio Emerson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Rich Keith made the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Ignacio Emerson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Moises Tafalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ignacio Emerson. That made the score 0-8 in the 65 minute of play. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ignacio Emerson made a huge save. Honduras played a much better game than Brannik and deserved their victory. The Brannik players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
